BDO, or the Waste Database, is a central system used to record and monitor waste in Poland. Since January 1, 2020, the requirement to register with BDO applies to most companies that generate waste, as well as those that transport, process, store and dispose of it. The aim of BDO is to increase transparency in the area of waste management and to reduce the phenomenon of illegal storage.
